Learn how to create, edit, and manage posts with our powerful editor and AI features

Overview

The Post Management system provides a comprehensive solution for creating, editing, and sharing written content. It includes a rich text editor powered by TipTap, AI-powered writing assistance, and advanced sharing capabilities.

Key Features

Rich Text Editor

Our post editor is built on TipTap and supports a wide range of formatting options:

  • Text Formatting: Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, code, and more
  • Headings: Multiple heading levels for document structure
  • Lists: Bullet lists, numbered lists, and task lists with nested support
  • Text Alignment: Left, center, right, and justify alignment
  • Special Formatting: Highlight text with colors, superscript, subscript
  • Media: Insert images with drag-and-drop upload support (max 3 images)
  • Typography: Smart quotes, em dashes, and other typographic enhancements
  • Horizontal Rules: Add visual separators to your content

AI-Powered Writing Assistance

The editor includes powerful AI features to help you write better content:

Continue Writing

  • Automatically generates content to continue from your current position
  • Understands the context of your document
  • Helps overcome writer's block

Rewrite Content

  • Select text to rewrite it in a different way
  • Improves clarity and readability
  • Maintains the original meaning

Generate Outline

  • Creates a structured outline based on your content
  • Helps organize your thoughts
  • Great for planning longer documents

Generate Summary

  • Automatically creates a summary of your content
  • Places the summary at the beginning of your document
  • Useful for executive summaries and previews

Translation

  • Translate selected text or entire documents
  • Supports 10 languages:
    • English
    • Chinese (Simplified)
    • Japanese
    • Korean
    • French
    • German
    • Spanish
    • Portuguese
    • Russian
    • Arabic
  • Preserves formatting during translation

Custom Prompts

  • Provide your own instructions to the AI

Post Management

Creating Posts

  1. Click the "New Post" button in your dashboard
  2. Enter a title for your post (required)
  3. Write your content using the rich text editor
  4. Configure advanced settings (optional):
    • Description
    • Cover image URL
    • Tags (comma-separated)
    • Folder organization
    • Public/Private visibility

Saving and Publishing

  • Save Draft: Save your work without publishing

    • Drafts are automatically saved to local storage
    • Changes are tracked to prevent unnecessary saves
    • Only saves when content has been modified
  • Publish: Make your post available

    • Published posts appear in your post list
    • Public posts can be shared via share links
    • Private posts are only visible to you

Editing Posts

  1. Select a post from your post list
  2. Make your changes in the editor
  3. The system will detect changes automatically
  4. Save or publish when ready

Deleting Posts

  1. Open the post you want to delete
  2. Click the trash icon in the header
  3. Confirm the deletion
  4. The post will be permanently removed

Folder Organization

Organize your posts into folders for better management:

  • Create custom folders
  • Move posts between folders
  • Keep posts in the root folder (no folder)
  • Filter posts by folder

Share Links

Create shareable links for your posts with advanced features:

Requirements

  • Posts must be marked as Public to create share links
  • Only works in edit mode for existing posts

Creating Share Links

  1. Open a published post
  2. Click the Share icon in the header
  3. Optionally set a password
  4. Click "Create Share Link"
  5. Copy the generated URL

Share Link Features

  • Multiple Links: Create multiple share links for the same post
  • Password Protection: Add optional password protection to any link
  • Enable/Disable: Temporarily disable links without deleting them
  • View Statistics: Track how many times each link has been viewed
  • Update Password: Change the password at any time
  • Delete Links: Remove share links when no longer needed

Managing Share Links

Each share link has its own controls:

  • Toggle Enable/Disable: Use the switch to control link availability
  • Update Password: Edit the password field and it will save automatically
  • View Count: See how many times the link has been accessed
  • Delete: Permanently remove the share link

Quota Management

Free and paid plans have different limits:

  • Free Plan: Limited number of posts per month

    • Displays remaining quota
    • Prompts to upgrade when limit is reached
  • Pro Plan: Higher monthly post limit

  • Lifetime Plan: Maximum post creation capacity

Keyboard Shortcuts

The editor supports standard text editing shortcuts:

  • Ctrl/Cmd + B: Bold
  • Ctrl/Cmd + I: Italic
  • Ctrl/Cmd + U: Underline
  • Ctrl/Cmd + Z: Undo
  • Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z: Redo
  • Ctrl/Cmd + K: Insert link

Best Practices

Writing Tips

  1. Use Headings: Structure your content with proper heading hierarchy
  2. Break Up Text: Use lists and paragraphs to improve readability
  3. Add Visuals: Include images to make content more engaging
  4. Use AI Wisely: Let AI assist but maintain your unique voice
  5. Save Often: While auto-save is available, manually save important milestones

Organization

  1. Use Folders: Group related posts together
  2. Add Descriptions: Help identify posts quickly
  3. Tag Appropriately: Use relevant tags for easier searching
  4. Set Cover Images: Make posts visually distinctive

Sharing

  1. Set to Public: Remember to make posts public before sharing
  2. Use Passwords: Add password protection for sensitive content
  3. Disable Old Links: Disable links instead of deleting to preserve view counts
  4. Track Engagement: Monitor view counts to understand reach

Troubleshooting

AI Features Not Working

  • Ensure you have credits available for AI operations
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Contact support if issues persist

Draft Not Saving

  • Check browser local storage permissions
  • Ensure you're not in private/incognito mode
  • Try clearing browser cache
  • Make sure you have a title entered

Share Link Not Working

  • Verify the post is set to Public
  • Check that the link is enabled
  • Ensure correct password is entered (if protected)
  • Try regenerating the share link

Image Upload Failing

  • Check image file size (must be under maximum limit)
  • Ensure image format is supported (JPEG, PNG, GIF, etc.)
  • Verify you haven't exceeded the 3-image limit per upload
  • Check your internet connection

Mobile Support

The post editor is optimized for mobile devices:

  • Touch-friendly toolbar
  • Mobile-specific layout adjustments
  • Responsive design for all screen sizes
  • Virtual keyboard optimization

Security

  • Passwords are securely hashed
  • Share links use cryptographically secure tokens
  • Private posts are never accessible via share links
  • All data is encrypted in transit
