Co-Creation Program

Share your content externally and earn credits or free subscriptions based on engagement

Overview

The LikeDo Co-Creation Program rewards you for sharing your posts and short links on external platforms. When your shared content receives significant engagement (views/clicks), you can apply for rewards including credits and premium subscriptions.

What is Co-Creation?

Co-Creation is a partnership program where you:

  1. Create quality content on LikeDo (posts or short links)
  2. Share it on external platforms (Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
  3. Drive traffic and engagement
  4. Apply for rewards based on performance
  5. Receive credits or premium subscriptions

This program helps grow the LikeDo community while rewarding creators for their contributions.

How It Works

Step-by-Step Process

1. Create Your Content

For Posts:

  • Write and publish a post on LikeDo
  • Create a public share link for your post
  • Make sure your content is valuable and engaging

For Short Links:

  • Create a short link in your dashboard
  • Ensure the destination URL provides value
  • Configure your link settings (custom domain, QR code, etc.)

2. Share on External Platforms

Share your LikeDo resource on external platforms such as:

  • Social Media: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram
  • Communities: Reddit, Discord, Slack channels
  • Forums: Hacker News, Product Hunt, Indie Hackers
  • Messaging Apps: WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat
  • Your Website: Blog posts, documentation, landing pages

Sharing Tips:

  • Add context and value when sharing
  • Choose relevant communities and audiences
  • Engage with comments and questions
  • Don't spam - share genuinely useful content

3. Build Engagement

Wait for your shared content to accumulate views or clicks:

  • For Posts: Share link views count
  • For Short Links: Click count from link logs

You can track performance in real-time:

  • Post share links show view counts in the share management section
  • Short links display click analytics in your dashboard

4. Submit Your Application

Once your content reaches a reward tier threshold, submit an application:

  1. Navigate to Dashboard → Co-Creation

  2. Click "Submit Application"

  3. Fill in the application form:

    • Resource Type: Post or Short Link
    • Select Resource: Choose from your eligible content
    • Share Platform: Where you shared it (e.g., Reddit)
    • Share URL: Direct link to your external share
    • Description (optional): Additional context about your share
  4. Review your current view/click count

  5. Submit for review

5. Review Process

After submission:

  • Your application enters Pending Review status
  • Our team reviews within 1-3 business days
  • We verify:
    • Content quality and authenticity
    • Engagement is genuine (not bots or fake traffic)
    • Share URL is valid and matches the application
    • Compliance with platform guidelines

You'll receive an email notification when review is complete.

6. Receive Your Rewards

If Approved:

  • Credits are automatically added to your account
  • Subscription (if applicable) is activated immediately
  • You can view rewards in your credits dashboard
  • An email confirmation is sent with reward details

If Rejected:

Anti-Fraud Measures

To maintain program integrity and prevent abuse:

Human Verification

What We Check:

  • Traffic patterns and sources
  • User behavior on shared links
  • Time spent on content
  • Geographic distribution
  • Referrer authenticity

Red Flags:

  • Sudden spikes from bot traffic
  • Clicks from click farms
  • Self-clicking or automated tools
  • Coordinated fake engagement
  • Suspicious traffic sources

Quality Standards

Content Must Be:

  • Original or properly attributed
  • Valuable to the community
  • Compliant with platform terms
  • Not spam or low-quality
  • Relevant to the share platform

Verification Process

During review, we verify:

  1. Share URL exists and is accessible
  2. Engagement is genuine (not bots)
  3. Content quality meets standards
  4. Platform guidelines are followed
  5. No gaming or manipulation detected

Consequences of Fraud:

Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Can I apply for the same content multiple times?

No. Each resource (post share link or short link) can only have one application. Once submitted, you cannot apply again for that specific resource, even if it gains more views later.

How is the monthly quota calculated?

The monthly quota resets on the 1st of each calendar month. You get 5 new application slots regardless of previous month's usage. Rejected applications are refunded and don't count toward the quota.

Can I delete an application and resubmit?

No. Once submitted, applications cannot be deleted or edited. Choose carefully when to apply to maximize your view count.

Do I need to wait for 100 views before applying?

While you can technically apply with fewer views, your application will likely be rejected if you don't meet the minimum tier threshold (100 views). Wait until you reach at least Tier 1.

Eligibility Questions

Can I apply for private posts?

No. Only public posts with active share links are eligible. Private posts cannot generate share links.

What if my short link has a password?

Password-protected links are still eligible as long as the destination URL is accessible. However, this may reduce your engagement potential.

Can I apply for deleted content?

No. Content must be active and accessible at the time of application and review. Do not delete content with pending applications.

Are there limits on content type?

Content must comply with LikeDo's terms of service and the share platform's guidelines. Adult content, illegal content, or spam is not eligible.

Application Questions

Can I edit my application after submission?

No. Applications cannot be edited once submitted. Ensure all information is correct before submitting.

What if I make a mistake in the share URL?

Contact support immediately with your application ID and the correct URL. We may be able to update it before review.

How do I know if my view count qualifies?

Check your current view count before applying:

  • Posts: View in share link management
  • Short Links: View in link analytics dashboard

Can I submit applications for multiple platforms?

Only one application per resource is allowed, regardless of how many platforms you shared it on. Choose the platform with the best evidence of engagement.

Rewards Questions

When will I receive my rewards?

Approved applications grant rewards immediately:

  • Credits appear in your account within minutes
  • Subscriptions activate instantly
  • Email confirmation is sent

Do credits from rewards expire?

Yes, credits expire based on your plan:

  • Free plan: 365 days
  • Paid plans: 3650 days (10 years)

Can I choose cash instead of credits?

No. All rewards are in credits and/or subscription time. Credits cannot be converted to cash or transferred.

What happens if my subscription is already active?

The 1-month subscription reward extends your current subscription by one additional month. It does not replace or restart your existing subscription.

Review Questions

Why is my review taking longer than 5 days?

High volumes during holidays or special events may cause delays. If it's been more than 7 business days, contact support.

Can I expedite the review process?

No. All applications are reviewed in the order received. Premium plans do not receive priority review.

What if the reviewer cannot access my share URL?

If your share was removed or is inaccessible, the application will be rejected. Ensure shares remain available during review.

How can I improve my chances of approval?

  • Share genuinely valuable content
  • Drive organic, authentic traffic
  • Provide clear, accessible share URLs
  • Follow all platform guidelines
  • Wait for substantial engagement before applying

Platform-Specific Questions

Which platforms are best for Co-Creation?

Platforms with engaged communities tend to perform best:

  • Reddit (subreddits relevant to your content)
  • Hacker News (for tech content)
  • Twitter (with strong following)
  • LinkedIn (for professional content)
  • Product Hunt (for product launches)

Can I share in private groups or channels?

Yes, but ensure the share URL is accessible to reviewers. Private Facebook groups or closed Discord servers may be difficult to verify.

Is self-promotion allowed on these platforms?

Follow each platform's self-promotion guidelines:

  • Reddit: Read subreddit rules carefully (many limit self-promotion)
  • Hacker News: Show HN is designed for sharing your work
  • Twitter: Generally acceptable
  • LinkedIn: Professional sharing is encouraged

What if my platform is not listed?

Select "Other" and specify the platform in the description field.

  • Verify you own the post/link
  • Check that it hasn't been deleted
  • Ensure you're logged into the correct account
  • Refresh the page and try again

"You have already submitted an application for this resource"

Solution:

  • This is expected - each resource only allows one application
  • Check your application history to view the existing application
